Fakemon....Fossil Amalgam

Well, thinking about the galar fossils I imagined if they had not existed, that another design could have been born from the concept of the wrong mixture of fossils

Short story:
Many times after an excavation we find fragmentary fossils, sometimes there are so many that it takes years before we can classify them. One night one of the guards heard loud noises and when he went to investigate he came across a strange creature, literally a living fossil walking awkwardly through the corridors.
We were very excited about a new type of pokemon and not only that, but it was the first rock and ghost type that had been discovered. But the more we examined it, the more questions came up, it seemed to be made of fossils of different species, so we decided to call it Mixssil
