Character Design Challenge Animal Skatepark

Looking for inspirations for this design, at first I thought about designing a turtle or some kind of fish, but looking I run into the flying snake and I couldnt stop imagining how it would use its movement not only to glide but to gain speed or do incredible tricks on the skateboard.
